This ancient Manor House is Grade II listed and can be traced back to the Doomsday Book. Once farmed by the monks of Jervaulx Abbey, Ainderby Myers Farm is steeped in history and surrounded by pastureland, with great views of the surrounding hillside providing a terrific atmosphere.
Still a working farm, but now with a holiday wing for guests, Ainderby Myers provides excellent accommodation and is an ideal base for walkers. Pony trekking and fishing are also available by arrangement.
Enjoy a Yorkshire breakfast made from local produce in the farmhouse dining room. Relax in the guest lounge complete with piano and harmonium. Walk the fields and down by the stream discovering the wildlife - you can even make yourself a picnic in the guest kitchen.
The local inn is just 2 miles away. Many local attractions including Tennants Auction House, Castle Bolton, Hawes Creamery, Brymor Ice Cream, Richmond Castle, Bowes Museum and Middleham Castle, all of which are marked out on ordnance survey maps to help you on the right road to enjoy Herriot Country.
