Bluebell, Bonny and Buttercup are set round a central, flower bedecked courtyard, with wide doors to allow access by wheelchairs. Each cottage is individually furnished, with quilts designed and made by Margaret and pictures on the walls by local artists, some for sale. Fully centrally heated, they are all cosy in winter as well as in summer, so guests can happily stay here and see the beauties of Suffolk, even in the winter months. Bertie sits on its own at the bottom of our garden and is fitted out to the same high standard as the other three. However, this cottage has a wet room for those who cannot manage a bath, with grab rails, a perch stool and a high rise toilet seat is needed. Short breaks available from November-May The kitchen/living room in Bertie opens by French windows into its own little garden, which in turn opens into our lovely garden, to which all guests are invited. Park Farm sits in a very good place for visiting places such as Minsmere, the RSPB's flagship reserve, Orford and Framlingham Castles, owned by English Heritage, which both have a wide variety of re-enactments and other lively events during the summer months, and the delightful seaside resorts of Aldeburgh and Southwold. There is a lot of music in Suffolk also, with the Aldeburgh Festival in June, the Proms in August, and all sorts of other musical events during the year, some in marvellous old churches and others such as Latitude Festival in the open air in July, at Henham. This is a wonderful area for cycling, with lots of little, virtually traffic-free roads, and we are just off the Suffolk Cycle Route 1 and the Hull-Harwich Route.

| Accommodation Rooms/Units |
|
Unit Name :
Blueball Maximum Occupancy : 2 Bedrooms : 1 Our cottage for two people, although there is plenty of space in the bedroom for a cot or a little bed. Much sought after, regarded as their "second home" by quite a number of our regular guests, Bluebell has a large living area, with comfy, spacious sitting room at one end and kitchen at the other. In the sitting room area there is a television with video, an audio system with CD player and radio, books and magazines to read, jigsaw puzzles and games to play. There is a folder with ideas of where to shop, things to do and places to eat, as well as emergency numbers such as doctor, dentist etc. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you might need for your stay, right down to rolling pin and garlic press! As this cottage is for just two people, and many people mostly choose to eat out during their stay, we have not put a dishwasher in this cottage, but there is an electric cooker and microwave oven, and even a few recipe books to give you inspiration. As with all our cottages Bluebell’s bedroom has zip-and-link beds, which means that guests can choose whether they have single beds or a 6' double. The bedroom overlooks Sibton Park, so you can lie in bed and watch the barn owl float past or the squirrels rush up the lime trees. The bathroom is spacious and light. There is a bath with shower over, and wash basin with shaver point, and a toilet. Towels are supplied as is the bed linen. One of three cottages round a flower-decked courtyard, a wonderful place for barbecues or a quiet evening drink. Sorry, but we are unable to accept any dogs. |

Unit Name :
Bonny Maximum Occupancy : 4 Bedrooms : 2 Bonny sleeps four people in a double/twin and a bunk-bedded bedroom, hence is much loved by families, although we have many couples who take this cottage for just the two of them because it overlooks our garden. As with Bluebell it has a living area with kitchen at one end and sitting room at the other. This arrangement means that the person doing the cooking is not closed off from the rest of the family while preparing the meal, much more fun when you are on holiday. The kitchen has electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and kettle. The cupboards and drawers are well stocked with crockery and cutlery – everything you might need for your stay. All our cottages are heated by combi-boilers, so you just turn on the tap and hot water appears. These boilers also supply the central heating, making the cottages very cosy indeed as, when we did the conversions the walls and ceilings were all well insulated and the windows are double-glazed. As with Bluebell, the sitting room has comfy seating, good lighting for reading, television with video/DVD player, radio and CD player. There are books and magazines to read, along with lots of information of what to do and see in the area, games to play and jigsaws. Sorry, but we are unable to accept any dogs. |

Unit Name :
Buttercup Maximum Occupancy : 4 Bedrooms : 2 The third of our three cottages round a courtyard, this sunny, airy cottage certainly has the "wow" factor. Everyone who arrives to stay in Buttercup exclaims at how lovely it is. We have decorated it in shades of yellow, going from a deep golden yellow in the kitchen through to a middle shade in the sitting room, to a pale primrose with a deeper yellow in the vaulted ceiling in the first bedroom. The exposed beams in both this bedroom and the sitting room really work well with the paintwork. The sitting room has lovely puffy sofas, soft wall lights together with additional lighting for reading, sewing etc. Audio and visual systems are the same as the other two courtyard cottages, and again, there is plenty of reading matter, games and puzzles should the weather keep you in. The dining table is between the kitchen and sitting room area. The kitchen, just off the sitting room, is fully equipped and a real joy to work in should you wish to cook while you are staying here. The first bedroom has double/twin beds, chest of drawers and wardrobe. These last two items, along with bedside cabinets in all the cottages, are made by a local craftsman. On the high wall behind the bed hangs one of Margaret’s quilted wall hangings, this one called "How does your garden grow?", echoes her love of gardening. There are other examples of her work throughout the four cottages, along with paintings and photographs by local artists. The second bedroom also sleeps two in either double or single beds. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, along with basin and toilet. For those who find getting into a bath difficult we have a special seat which fits across the bath to let you sit under the shower. All towels are supplied for your stay. Sorry, but we are unable to accept any dogs. |

Unit Name :
Bertie Maximum Occupancy : 4 Bedrooms : 2 Bertie sits on its own at the bottom of our garden. It has its own little garden with garden furniture, and this opens into our garden, so guests can wander up the path to sit by the pond or under a tree to enjoy the peace and quiet. Although all the cottages have wide doors to allow access by wheelchairs, Bertie was converted with disabled particularly in mind. It sleeps four people in two rooms, but with one room there is an en suite shower, wash basin and toilet and next to the second bedroom there is a wet room for people whose mobility is such that they cannot manage a bath. There are grab rails in the shower and by the toilet, but we also have a perch stool and high-rise toilet seat with handles if required. The sitting room/kitchen is really lovely, with vaulted ceiling and French windows with beautifully draped curtains opening into the garden, which is a favourite place for guests to either eat breakfast or to sit with a glass of wine and a book. As with the other cottages, this one has a fully equipped kitchen, TV, video, radio and CD player. Sorry, but we are unable to accept any dogs. |
