Bluebell, Bonny and Buttercup are set round a central, flower bedecked courtyard, with wide doors to allow access by wheelchairs. Each cottage is individually furnished, with quilts designed and made by Margaret and pictures on the walls by local artists, some for sale. Fully centrally heated, they are all cosy in winter as well as in summer, so guests can happily stay here and see the beauties of Suffolk, even in the winter months.

Bertie sits on its own at the bottom of our garden and is fitted out to the same high standard as the other three. However, this cottage has a wet room for those who cannot manage a bath, with grab rails, a perch stool and a high rise toilet seat is needed.

Short breaks available from November-May

The kitchen/living room in Bertie opens by French windows into its own little garden, which in turn opens into our lovely garden, to which all guests are invited.

Park Farm sits in a very good place for visiting places such as Minsmere, the RSPB's flagship reserve, Orford and Framlingham Castles, owned by English Heritage, which both have a wide variety of re-enactments and other lively events during the summer months, and the delightful seaside resorts of Aldeburgh and Southwold. There is a lot of music in Suffolk also, with the Aldeburgh Festival in June, the Proms in August, and all sorts of other musical events during the year, some in marvellous old churches and others such as Latitude Festival in the open air in July, at Henham.

This is a wonderful area for cycling, with lots of little, virtually traffic-free roads, and we are just off the Suffolk Cycle Route 1 and the Hull-Harwich Route.

Accommodation Rooms/Units
Unit Name : Blueball
Maximum Occupancy : 2
Bedrooms : 1
Our cottage for two people, although there is plenty of space in the bedroom for a cot or a little bed. Much sought after, regarded as their "second home" by quite a number of our regular guests, Bluebell has a large living area, with comfy, spacious sitting room at one end and kitchen at the other. In the sitting room area there is a television with video, an audio system with CD player and radio, books and magazines to read, jigsaw puzzles and games to play. There is a folder with ideas of where to shop, things to do and places to eat, as well as emergency numbers such as doctor, dentist etc. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you might need for your stay, right down to rolling pin and garlic press! As this cottage is for just two people, and many people mostly choose to eat out during their stay, we have not put a dishwasher in this cottage, but there is an electric cooker and microwave oven, and even a few recipe books to give you inspiration. As with all our cottages Bluebell’s bedroom has zip-and-link beds, which means that guests can choose whether they have single beds or a 6' double. The bedroom overlooks Sibton Park, so you can lie in bed and watch the barn owl float past or the squirrels rush up the lime trees. The bathroom is spacious and light. There is a bath with shower over, and wash basin with shaver point, and a toilet. Towels are supplied as is the bed linen. One of three cottages round a flower-decked courtyard, a wonderful place for barbecues or a quiet evening drink. Sorry, but we are unable to accept any dogs.
Unit Name : Bonny
Maximum Occupancy : 4
Bedrooms : 2
Bonny sleeps four people in a double/twin and a bunk-bedded bedroom, hence is much loved by families, although we have many couples who take this cottage for just the two of them because it overlooks our garden. As with Bluebell it has a living area with kitchen at one end and sitting room at the other. This arrangement means that the person doing the cooking is not closed off from the rest of the family while preparing the meal, much more fun when you are on holiday. The kitchen has electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and kettle. The cupboards and drawers are well stocked with crockery and cutlery – everything you might need for your stay. All our cottages are heated by combi-boilers, so you just turn on the tap and hot water appears. These boilers also supply the central heating, making the cottages very cosy indeed as, when we did the conversions the walls and ceilings were all well insulated and the windows are double-glazed. As with Bluebell, the sitting room has comfy seating, good lighting for reading, television with video/DVD player, radio and CD player. There are books and magazines to read, along with lots of information of what to do and see in the area, games to play and jigsaws. Sorry, but we are unable to accept any dogs.
