Cadson Manor Farm

Enjoy England Self Catering 4 Stars

Accommodation Details

Thank you for your interest in our accommodation. A friendly welcome is extended to all visitors, whether staying in the self-catering wing or those who have selected bed and breakfast accommodation in the main house. A welcome tray is freshly prepared for you on arrival.

Traditionally furnished and full of country charm, the rooms all have lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Should you have any special requirements, please discuss them with us and we will do our best to meet them.

Cadson was well and truly established by the time Charles I and his troops crossed the Bridge over the River Lynher in 1643, fresh from victory at the Battle of Braddock Down. Today the entrance to Cadson leads to the imposing house, which has been lived in and improved over the years, and now presents a Georgian face to the world.

Inside, the accommodation is spacious and welcoming and gas central heating and electric showers provide comforts that would have amazed owners from the distant past. The view down the valley is over meadows grazed by sheep and horses, and the Manor's fishing lake. For the keen - or even not so keen - fisherman our 2-acre lake is stocked with mirror and common carp, tench, bream, gudgeon and roach.

The view also encompasses Cadson Bury, an iron age hill fort owned by the National Trust. A large picnic area is available nearby for your use.
