Cyfie Farm

Visit England Gold AwardWales Cymru 5 stars

Accommodation Details

Exceptionally spacious and private luxury farm bed and breakfast suites and self catering accommodation with Spa nestling into and sheltering high among rolling hills, on the fringes of one of Britain's last great wildernesses near to Lake Vyrnwy and on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. Cyfie Farm, a Wales Tourism Gold Award winner offers excellent five star rated B&B and self-catering accommodation with a Hot Tub and Sauna Spa and offers the perfect stylish retreat. It is one of the few remaining places in the UK where complete silence can still be experienced, with no background traffic noise or light pollution and is ideal for viewing clear starry skies. A rural idyll steeped in Welsh history.

Cyfie Farm is a traditionally-built 17th century Welsh long house and barns. Carefully restored to retain many original features, with oak beams and log fires, Cyfie Farm's fusion of modern comfort with a warm farmhouse atmosphere has earned us a coveted 5-star grading and one of the first Gold Awards from Visit Wales, (which means we are in the top 2% of accommodation nationally). We are also Green Dragon Award holders, reflecting our sustainable environmental ethos.

Near to the spectacular waterfalls at the end of Lake Vyrnwy and Pistyll Rhaeadr, the stunning lake at Bala and the splendour of Powis Castle, Chirk Castle, Erddig and near to the Snowdonia National Park and Berwyn Mountains in North Wales, Cyfie Farm offers the ultimate in luxurious privacy and comfort, with fantastic views across the width of Wales including the Long Mynd, Stiperstones and Cader Idris, best enjoyed from our hot tub and sauna spa and our beautiful gardens, which are part of the National Garden Scheme.

Both Claire and Neil are Cordon Bleu trained and offer fresh seasonal organic local produce for breakfast and evening meals by arrangement.

The farm is within easy reach of three peaceful and secluded villages, while accessible to some of the best coastlines, fishing, walking, mountains, activities and castles in Wales. It is an hours drive to the spectacular North Wales coast and is an ideal location to explore North and Mid Wales and the Shropshire hills.
