Hillside Farm

Enjoy England Four Stars

Accommodation Details

Hillside Farm offers luxury bed and breakfast accommodation in a beautifully restored 16th Century Norfolk farmhouse, located in the pretty village of Bergh Apton. The farmhouse is the family home of Carrie & Martin Holl and is timber framed, thatched and with a wealth of historical features (listed grade II). Set in a pretty cottage garden, the house forms the central point of a busy working family farm with 350 acres of arable land.

We have a large games barn with snooker, pool & table tennis. There are two well stocked coarse fishing lakes (in all five acres of water) which can be fished or just enjoyed for their wild life and tranquility.

We are ideally situated for holidays or business guests, just seven miles South of the beautiful city of Norwich, with its fine cathedral, castle, and the renowned Sainsbury Centre for visual arts. Norwich is also excellent for shopping. There are many ideal walks, including the famous Wherryman's Way. We are within easy reach of the broads, Norfolk & Suffolk coastlines, RSPB reserves and National Trust properties.

All local produce is used whenever possible.

Special diets are catered for by arrangement.
