Millmoor Farm Holiday Cottages are luxury self catering holiday rentals, set on a working farm in attractive South Cheshire countryside run by Sally-Ann and David Chesters. They are the perfect accomodation for peaceful country holidays. The cottages are large, sleeping at least 4 people, and are available to rent weekly. Lettings are also available for extended periods. Millmoor Farm is a working farm, where you can see loads of farm animals and even help look after them! Read more about Millmoor Farm here. There are stunning views across the countryside in Cheshire, Wales, Shropshire and Staffordshire, and you can see for miles and miles on a clear day. The farm is nestled in a little valley on a broad slope overlooking Malpas. The cottages are very warm and comfortable, and are fully equipped with the latest facilities. Three of the cottages are on Millmoor Farm itself, and one is a couple of miles away at Bradley Brook. South Cheshire is a lovely, peaceful area, which is quite undiscovered. Chester and Chester Zoo are less than half an hour away, and you can be in the hills of Shropshire, the mountains of Wales or the hustle and bustle of Liverpool in under an hour. Things to see and do in Cheshire

	Bishop Lloyds Palace This fine house was built for George Lloyd D. D., Bishop of Sodor and Man, and also Bishop of Chester 1604 to 1615. Bishop Lloyd died in 1615 and was buried in the Choir of Chester Cathedral. A remarkable survivor of the civil war, the house is located half way down Watergate Street from the Cross on the South side. The Rainforest shop is located in the row level shop. Bishop Lloyd's Palace was originally two town houses built over medieval undercrofts. Rebuilt in the early seventeenth century, the two houses may have become one at this time or, possibly, later in the seventeenth century when major internal alterations took place.
	Old Dee Bridge At the end of Bridge Street is the Old Dee Bridge. The oldest bridge in Chester. The first Dee Bridge was built in 922 and was made of wood. Legend says that when King Edward I crossed over on his way to fight the welsh. He decreed that if a stone bridge was not constructed he would sack the city. Fortunately when he returned in 1280. The current bridge was in place. It was known as the Chester Bridge in coaching days when the distances were measured from it.

	Chester Cathedral      View website There has been a church on this site for over 1,000 years.
