Park Farm Cottages, near Bristol Bath and Wells, are two newly converted luxury, self catering barns on a working farm, within the small hamlet of Norton Hawkfield, are south facing and enjoy fantastic views along a small valley. Park Farm holiday cottages are only one and a half miles from Chew Magna and three miles from Chew Valley Lake, renowned for fishing and bird watching.

•2 newly converted cottages. The Dairy sleeps 4. 1 double 1 twin. The Barn sleeps 4 + 1. One double 1 twin + one single bed on gallery, (max 4 adults)
•On a working Farm, within a small hamlet.
•Stunning views over open countryside and along a small valley.
•Enclosed shared lawned garden with private patios, garden furniture, and BBQ.
•Free WiFi
•Under-floor heating, slate floor throughout except bedrooms.
•Dishwasher, washer/dryer in each cottage.
•We provide all bed linen and towels.
•We have a no smoking policy.
•Only 1.5 miles from the historic village of Chew Magna with good food pub's, Cafe/gift shop.
•Walking, an excellent network of circular footpaths. The Avon Community Forest footpath runs through the farm, with the 3 peaks circular walk nearby.
•Friday to Friday booking, and short breaks
•Close to Chew Valley and Blagdon lake, with excellent fishing birdwatching and walking.
•Close proximity to Bristol, Bath and Wells, - makes an ideal base to explore the West Country.
•Sorry we do not accommodate pets, however Overhill boarding Kennels are just a mile away.
•Sorry we do not accept single sex groups.

The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta is held during August in Bristol, England. Teams from the UK and other parts of the world bring their hot air balloons to the site and participate in mass ascents where as many as 100 balloons may launch at a time. The event is one of the largest in Europe and it is common to have crowds of over 100,000 on each of the four days of the festival. One popular attraction is the night glow, when balloons are inflated and glow to music after dark. These are held on the opening Thursday night at approx 9:30pm, followed by a spectacular fireworks display. There is another night glow at the same time followed by the fireworks on the Saturday night. Some people see these as the highlight of the fiesta. Another attraction is the large number of special shaped balloons which take off.

The world famous Clifton Suspension Bridge was designed by the great Victorian engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel, although he never lived to see his creation finished in 1864. Its spectacular setting on the cliffs of the Avon Gorge have made it the symbol of Bristol, drawing thousands of visitors a year just to stroll across for views of the gorge and elegant Clifton. The free tours begin at 3.00pm every Sunday throughout the summer months (Easter Sunday to mid-Sept). Meet at the toll booth at the Clifton end of the Bridge and expect each tour to last around 45 mins. The guided tour is suitable for all ages and abilities - great for the enthusiast, the school project or for general interest.
