The Granary

Enjoy England Self Catering 3 Stars

Accommodation Details

The Granary has been carefully converted to a cosy self-catering unit for two people from an old grain store, built about one hundred and fifty years ago. The outside staircase has been retained merely as a reminder of its former use. On the ground floor a small hall leads into the kitchen /living room (with TV, four ring electric cooker and microwave). Upstairs is the bedroom with twin beds and the bathroom. Central heating is provided by night storage heaters and there is an electric fire in the living room. Outside is a seating area with garden chairs and table for summer weather. Off road parking is available for two cars. The farm has been in the family for two generations and is bordered by the River Alne. In the Dovecote field stands the medieval Dovecote, now owned by the National Trust. We are one mile from the historic town of Alcester and within easy reach of Warwick, Worcester, Coventry, Birmingham and The Cotswolds. Within a radius of 3 miles are Ragley Hall and Coughton Court as well as several good restaurants and pubs.
