The Stud Farm Bed & Breakfast and Stables are situated on a 70 acre farm on the outskirts of the small village of Bodle Street Green near Herstmonceux in East Sussex.

This beautiful part of the county is in an area of outstanding natural beauty, where on your holiday you will find plenty of activities to suit all interests.

Fantastic walks are plentiful, the South Downs are just 20 minutes away and there are many footpaths, a lot of which can be reached easily from the farm.

Whether you fancy a day on the beach (20 minutes away), a trip to one of the many historic places of interest, a day out with the children (Drusillas is just one of the various family attractions), or just some quiet relaxing time to yourself, the Farm house or Stables are ideal.

A warm welcome awaits you at the Farm house and stables. Tim and Kate will be more than happy to provide you with any help and information to make your holiday a happy, relaxing and enjoyable one.

Camber Castle
Camber Castle

Camber Castle was one link in the chain of forts built along the south coast by Henry VIII. Highly symmetrical, built from Wealden and Sussex sandstone. By completion in 1544 the garrison strength was 29 men and had cost £16,000. It was abandoned in 1642 due to shingle build up and is a rare example of a Henrician fort surviving in its original plan. Now 2 miles from the sea.
