Tredinney Farm offers visitors the true experience of staying on a working Cornish farm.
The Farm and its surroundings
Tredinney is a family run dairy and beef farm, situated 3/4 mile from the A30 road, approx. 500 feet above sea level, near the hamlet of Crows-an-Wra, being only five miles distance each from Penzance and Land's End. The nearest railway and bus stations can be found in Penzance.
Beaches Sennen Cove with its large beach popular for swimming and surfing is a short drive away.
Archaeology Tredinney stands in the area of West Penwith which is famous for its landscape, areas of moorland and the largest concentration of archaeological monuments in Cornwall, including stone circles dating from the Bronze Age, ancient burial chambers, inscribed stones and granite crosses.
We have archaeological sites on our own farm, and Carn Euny ancient monument village is on our farm's boundary. Our fields go as far as Chapel Euny, where the famous holy well is, very close to Carn Euny Iron Age village.
Rare Plants and Flowers An area of outstanding natural beauty, with many Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) for its ancient field systems and its rare flora. Walks from the doorstep to see the common on our Farm Trail.
World Heritage Site The mining heritage of nearby St Just was recognised in 2006 when it became part of Cornwall's World Heritage Site.
