Arran Woodfuels have as our core business, the production and delivery of modern Wood Chip fuel to householders and businesses across the Island of Arran. In addition, we produce seasoned Firewood Logs and are exclusive suppliers of Balcas Brites Wood Pellets on Arran, Mid-Argyll and Kintyre areas.
Through our parent company Arran Energy Ltd, we also utilise a carefully chosen group of equipment suppliers and installers who are accredited under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS). They provide a range of domestic and commercial Woodfuel heating systems, all complying with the requirements of the current grant aid schemes. Our equipment is also guaranteed to be fully compatible with our range of biomass wood fuels available on Arran.
Arran Woodfuels is the successful partnership of Angus Smith and Duncan Mulholland and is a trading name of Arran Energy Ltd. Both Angus and Duncan were born and brought-up on the island and between them bring a wealth of technical, commercial & timber industry experience to the business.
