SEPRA Market Report - 30th January 2015

The market is moving up both price and demand wise and will probably firm up again next week, demand has increased due to payday and empty shelves in the fridge and eggs being adaptable and cheap.

Production is starting to be effected by the weather particularly Free Range; we suspected a state of emergency was going to be declared as some flakes of snow had fallen in Surrey!!!!!!!

New Free Range and Organic flocks are often a bit hesitant at going out in the white stuff at first, then they seem to enjoy going out for a play and jumping to catch snowflakes.

We are now at the end of January and the daylight is noticeably lengthening, Free Range and Organic flocks pick this up very quickly and if it gets a bit warmer, will respond.
