Three charities which help farmers and rural businesses have received a total amount of £11,400 thanks to a charity auction.

Representatives from R.A.B.I., Farming Community Network and Addington Fund, which form the Farming Help charity, recently collected a cheque from Edward Buckland Ltd Chartered Surveyors, Auctioneers & Valuers for £11,400 which will be shared between the three charities to help farmers in need.

This was raised at a charity auction at the Royal Cornwall Show, that Edd and his team organise with PKF Francis Clark and Cornish Mutual, with support from Barclays.

The event kicked off with a pasty and a pint whilst the Boscastle Buoys treated us to some wonderful singing. Then Edd and his side-kick Rob North started proceedings at a quick pace with over 40 lots to get through, ranging from bottles of Prosecco to a sheep rollover crate.

This is the third auction that Edd has organised and his target of beating last year’s total was achieved.
