Busy farmers need to vaccinate

Farmers are being told to take the time to vaccinate animals against the bluetongue virus in Cumbria.

The county is included in a national bluetongue vaccination zone which means livestock can be moved around freely.

A National Farmers Union spokesman said it is a busy time for farmers and many were holding off until quieter periods.
