Farmer Forum at Pembrokeshire Show

NFU Cymru is holding a Farmer Forum at this year’s Pembrokeshire Show when both the NFU President and the NFU Cymru President will be available to answer questions on the current situation relating to the agricultural industry in the UK.

At 2.30pm on Wednesday, 20 August 2014, Meurig Raymond, NFU President, and Stephen James, NFU Cymru President, both local Pembrokeshire farmers, will be at the NFU Cymru stand to discuss issues such as CAP reform, the RDP for Wales, bovine TB; as well as the current situation regarding the beef, lamb, dairy and arable sectors.

Mr Raymond said, “As the President of the NFU I am privileged to be in a position perhaps in that I can get answers to my questions. This Forum will be an opportunity to share whatever knowledge I have with fellow farmers.”

The Farmer Forum will be held on the NFU Cymru stand at Pembrokeshire Show. It will start at 2.30pm on the second day of the show, Wednesday, 20 August 2014. A warm welcome is extended to all members of NFU Cymru.
