Fisher German have been appointed as consultants to NatWest and Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) to assist with due diligence reports and valuations for farmers and landowners looking to invest in renewable energy projects.

Fisher German’s renewable energy and valuation teams will provide the services to NatWest and RBS after the banks made an initial £50 million available for loans for renewable energy projects. Mark Newton, Head of Renewable Energy at Fisher German, was instrumental in training around 230 NatWest Managers to be accredited for renewable energy projects.

Mark Newton said: "We are delighted to be associated with NatWest and RBS and this innovative product. This now means that landowners and farmers will be able to secure the necessary funds needed, to take their renewable energy project forward."

Fisher German also provides an initial free desktop analysis for renewable energy projects, and then a full feasibility report which are essential before applying for a bank loan. The firm have a group of 20 dedicated surveyors who will cover the whole of England, Wales and Scotland and Northern Ireland.
