Improved heat detection for less
Cox Agri is pleased to announce Kamar has a new lower price – making the product even more affordable to farmers.
Using heat detection aids is one of the simplest methods of increasing dairy herd conception rates. Cox trials show that using Kamar, along with visual observation, can boost detection rates to over 80 per cent; cows can then be served at the optimum time and conception rates increased.
"Tried and trusted, Kamar are easy to apply and stay on the animal," says Mr Stappard. "Any heat detector used must be reliable and Kamar has proven effective under all UK weather conditions.
"With the new lower price, it takes just less than a one per cent increase in heat detection in the herd to cover the cost of using Kamar," remarks Mr Stappard.
