Inazin Power Ltd, a leading developer of large renewable energy projects in the UK, has successfully developed and managed the build and connection of a further 76 MW of large scale solar parks to reach a total of over 200MW of completed UK solar projects. The four newest sites situated in Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Buckinghamshire and Dorset, were successfully commissioned and built on time to beat the Renewable Obligation (RO) deadline of 31 March 2015.

Inazin’s portfolio of completed large scale UK solar development projects now extends to 23 sites exceeding 200MW, which is estimated to provide sufficient clean energy to power more than 60,000 homes.

Inazin CEO David Sandilands said: “We are delighted to have maintained our 100% record by again connecting and energising all projects before the 31 March deadline. We continue to enhance our reputation for successfully delivering high–quality, large scale solar projects on schedule, meeting the expectations of investment partners, landowners and other stakeholders. We look forward to delivering further growth in the coming year and beyond.”

The recent projects to reach completion included the 38MW solar park at Great Wilbraham, Cambridgeshire. Developed for the renewable energy investment company, Low Carbon, this is Inazin’s largest site to date. Agent for the landowner, Beth Bull of Bidwells said: ”As with most developments of this scale, Inazin has had to overcome a number of significant challenges. From the initial contact with the landowner through to the successful completion of construction, Inazin has provided a professional and complete service. We now have a very impressive site extending across 147 acres of lower grade land that will produce a significant amount of green energy for many years to come.”

The projects also included a 19MW site at Branston, Lincolnshire. Agent for the landowners, Josh Pollock of Pollock Associates said: “This was a carefully selected, well situated site with good screening. The development and construction of the solar park has been diligently managed by Inazin, fully engaging with the local community and minimising disruption to its residents. We are all delighted with the completed site which will provide important habitats for wildlife, promoting biodiversity in an area of monoculture.”
