Kawasaki goes pro with new MULES for 2016

Long known as the utility vehicle of choice for many professionals – whether they be farmers, grounds-care experts or from an extensive roll call of other commercial users – the two machines at the top end of the Kawasaki MULE series will carry the new name PRO for 2016.

Boasting industry celebrated common sense specifications and renowned for their lust for hard work and rugged reliability, the new flexible seating PRO-DXT Trans with its adaptable folding load bed and innovative easy to change option of two seating rows plus the bench seat equipped PRO-DX, offer all the traditional advantages that the MULE series have built an enviable reputation for… and now a whole lot more including a new, attractive overall styling package.

With doors now as a standard fitment, the two models in the MULE PRO range are set to feature more operator convenience than ever. Matching all-day durability with uprated and updated looks Kawasaki’s much praised speed sensitive Electronic Power Steering (EPS) will now appear as standard fitment on all PRO models sold in the European market.

Of course visual appeal is one thing, but it’s the sheer ability to take on hard work and repeatedly come back for more that has long been the stand-out feature of the MULE range.

For 2016 a new 993cc three-cylinder diesel engine unit provides hard-working and reliable power and torque ensuring that Kawasaki users in the utility vehicle market stay where they expect to be, ahead of the pack and making light work of hard tasks. Additionally, commendably high ground clearance allows these all-ready agile low ground pressure vehicles to traverse the type of challenging terrain that befits their MULE name.
