Landini to launch new tractors at Cereals 2006
Landpower – five six-cylinder models from 118hp to 184hp with pto and transport 'power boost' and 50kph transmission options
Powermaster – three six-cylinder models from 176hp to 214hp with 'power boost' for pto work and eight-speed powershift
The 2006 Cereals Event, being staged in Lincolnshire on 14th and 15th June, will see the UK public launch of two new six-cylinder tractor ranges from Landini.
"This is a very significant introduction for Landini," says Adrian Winnett, UK sales manager. "The new tractors will build on our long-established but still growing popularity among livestock farmers by providing the power, performance and features that appeal to arable farmers and contractors."
The Landini Landpower, which replaces the current Legend model, will be available with five power outputs from 118hp to 184hp. Three specification levels cater for operators wanting a relatively basic tractor as well as those who want the ultimate in performance features, such as 50kph gearing, high-performance front axle suspension and additional power for pto work.
Landini's bigger Powermaster features 'power boost' engines as standard, providing a significant increase in output when operating pto-driven implements – ratings are 176/199hp, 199/214hp and 214/228hp. The Powermaster tractors also have as part of their 32x24-speed transmission (48x40 with creep) an eight-speed powershift giving easy selection of a generous choice of speeds for all field and road operations.
