Hydor will be demonstrating its wide range of solutions for ventilating agricultural environments at the 2013 Livestock event (Stand LE-365), with visitors to the stand able to enter a competition to win a HV1250 fan.

Two fans from Hydor’s HV Belt Drive range – the HV2000 and the HV1250 – will be amongst the products on display. They are specifically designed to ventilate larger farm buildings, including tunnel ventilated housings, in which substantial amounts of air need to be moved at low pressure with minimal energy consumption. These powerful fans can produce air volumes of up to 11.94 m³/s.

Also on display is the HE500, including plates and guards, from Hydor’s High Efficiency range. The HE is a heavy duty propeller fan generating air volumes of up to 4.84m3/s and is able to withstand the often arduous conditions which typify farm environments. The fan’s propeller shaped blades ensure efficient throughput of the air, with a blade tip clearance design which enhances the fan performance and allows large volumes of air to be circulated. Alongside the HE500 is the HGA350, a condenser fan featuring sickle blades designed for efficient movement of air at relatively low pressure, as well as three fans from the Turbulator recirculation fan range. The Turbulators offer a long throw, giving a measure of control over temperature and humidity in calf housing, as well as a variety of other farming applications.

Effective ventilation is crucial to maintaining healthy, and therefore productive, livestock. Hydor are specialists in the supply of air circulation and ventilation solutions for a wide range of agricultural environments, from dairy and beef cattle to pigs and poultry.
