Minister opens NFU office

Aberystwyth NFU Cymru office has been officially opened by Wales’ Rural Affairs Minister, Elin Jones, the local Assembly Member for Ceredigion.

Speaking at the event, before unveiling the Welsh slate plaque to declare the building open, the Rural Affairs Minister, Elin Jones, said, "I acknowledge the good work NFU Cymru does on behalf of its members and this newly extended and refurbished NFU Cymru office in Aberystwyth will provide a vital service to farmers in the area. This investment is also an indication of the confidence NFU Cymru and NFU Mutual has in the future of Welsh agriculture.

"I wish all the staff and customers to this NFU Cymru office my best wishes for a successful and prosperous future."

Aberystwyth Group Secretary, Cathy Davies said, "The new office is much bigger to accommodate NFU Cymru’s expanding business here in Aberystwyth. It is also conveniently located in the town centre. This will all mean a much better and more flexible service for NFU Cymru members and insurance customers."
