NFU Mutual has beaten some of Britain’s most-loved brands in winning a Which? Award top accolade for financial services for the third year in a row, having been named Best Insurance Services Provider 2015 on Wednesday 17 June.
The UK’s leading rural insurer has been chosen against a strong field of high street names that included John Lewis Financial Services and M&S Bank.
The Which? Awards are independent and, unlike many industry awards, a company cannot nominate itself.
The shortlist is chosen by experts based on research, testing, Best Buys and feedback from Which? members and the general public. The awards aim to identify the businesses in the UK that consistently get it right for consumers.
NFU Mutual Chief Executive Lindsay Sinclair, who accepted the award at a ceremony in London’s Kings Place said:
“We pride ourselves on providing value for money and excellent service. You know there’s a saying - price is what you pay, value is what you get, and that couldn’t be truer than with insurance.
“You pay your premium and when you have to make a claim you count on us to do the right thing. Winning a Which? Award for the third time in a row recognises just how well we do that.”
NFU Mutual’s win as Best Insurance Services Provider comes a week after it was named overall Most Trusted Insurer and Most Trusted Home Insurer in the Moneywise Customer Service Awards 2015.
