New sumo press realease: 'renewed confidence in the arable sector drives oe-pass cultivator demand'

Renewed confidence in the arable sector has led to an upsurge in demand for one-pass cultivators, according to a leading East Midlands machinery dealer.

"The type of tines/discs/press cultivator that the Sumo Trio represents is the sort of machine that is in demand from minimum tillage-focused farmers," commented Martin Jarvis of machinery dealer Sharmans (pictured here with 3m Trio). "With the continuing desire to reduce crop establishment costs, we're likely to see a further boost in this business for the coming season."

"In 3m mounted format, the Trio can be easily handled by the 180-200hp tractors now found on many arable farms, such as the John Deere 7810 or 7920/30," Mr Jarvis points out. "And the wider trailed Trio versions are ideally suited to higher-hp wheeled and tracked tractors."

"The Trio's Quatro stablemate suits those heavier land farms looking for high outputs and who have upwards of 400hp on tap – from 9000 series wheeled or tracked tractors, for example," he added.
