Garden steel fabrication company Paneltech Systems has been announced as the winner of the Best Trade Stand in Show award at this year’s CLA Game Fair.
The family-run business creates bespoke handmade, ornamental steel structures for gardens. Their winning stand featured a stunning ornamental garden. Paneltech’s Deborah Lee said the team were “over the moon” to have won the award.
She added: “I kept asking myself whether it was really worth creating a show garden. I had to nurse the plants for two months at home, and getting them here in one piece was quite a struggle! But once we arrived and put it all together, the sight of my design becoming reality made it all worth it. This is the first time Paneltech has exhibited at the CLA Game Fair so we are delighted to receive this award.”
CLA’s Director General Helen Woolley presented the team with a stunning cut glass bowl plus Paneltech Systems will receive the first unit of their pitch free of charge next year. Helen commented: “This annual award is designed to recognise the hard work that goes into presenting a trade stand. The judges are looking for presentation and neatness of the stand, unusual products and/or stand design and best use of resources available. We are not looking for the most expensive or large stand, but for innovation and inventiveness, whether working within budgets large or small.”
Previous winners include luxury garden building specialist Breeze House and family-run game shooting business Bettws Hall.
