Quantum Blue: The phytase revolution continues in Asia

The VIV Asia 2013 industry event in March will see the first anniversary of the Asian launch of AB Vista's Quantum Blue, an enhanced E. coli phytase developed to destroy phytate.

Known to be a potent anti-nutrient, phytate is currently costing the global poultry industry over $2 billion per year in lost performance.

AB Vista launched Quantum Blue at the January 2012 International Poultry Expo in Atlanta.

Since the launch, the performance benefits of Quantum Blue, the most powerful and effective phytase in the market, have been demonstrated in over 20 university and commercial trials across the globe.

The concept of destroying phytate for improved performance has been proven with Quantum Blue superdosing – a low phytate nutritional programme. A composite of six broiler superdosing trials showed a four-point improvement in body weight corrected feed conversion, the equivalent of a $6-7 saving per tonne of feed.

AB Vista is exhibiting at this year’s VIV Asia, from 13 to 15 March, at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre, Thailand.

On 13 March, between 3pm and 5pm, the company will host a ‘happy hour’ at its stand in Hall 106, booth BO28. Throughout VIV Asia 2013, all visitors to AB Vista’s stand will get the chance to enter a prize draw to win a Samsung tablet.

MY Tan, Regional Sales Director, AB Vista, said: "More than a year after the launch of Quantum Blue, VIV Asia is an ideal opportunity for us to demonstrate the commercial success of Quantum Blue. Quantum Blue has delivered unprecedented performance benefits for our customers around the world in 2012, and in 2013 we envisage more and more feed companies being able to capture the benefits from this revolutionary phytase enzyme."
