2,500 PIGS DESTOYED.
In the village of Rostovanovskoye in Russia, villagers have prepared the carcass’s of 2,500 fattened pigs for burning, under the governments instructions owing to African Swine Fever being contracted by the animals.
This has been a devastating blow for the local farming community in the region of Southern Russia.
Government officials from the nearby regional center of Stavropol, supervised the whole operation in the hope of containing the disease.
