FARM LAND FOR SALE.
Driving through the Russian country side, the first thing you notice are the large livestock facilities lying in ruins, which makes you realize why Russia has to import most of its meat.
There are many farms for sale of 100-200,000 Hectares, with the capability of producing enormous amounts of cereal or cattle for beef.
There are several hi-tec pig farms, in operation now of enormous sizes built with mainly European money, 50,000 pig units are not uncommon today.
There is the need for new investment and most of all new technology, should this happen relatively quickly, Russia has the potential to become another Brazil.
The Russian stock markets, have been the hardest hit, in the recent global meltdown and there is most certainly value to be had in the farm sector of Russia today.
