Spaldings Present RABI with Cheque for 6,737GBP

Spaldings today announced the success of their charity skydive with a cheque presentation to the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institutions East Midlands Regional Officer, Milly Wastie. The cheque for £6,737.80 was handed over by Spaldings’ Agricultural Sales Director Roger Chase who had taken part in the charity jump.

Mr Chase said: "I am absolutely delighted with the amount raised from our charity skydive. The kind generosity we have received from so many people provided us with the encouragement and determination to go through with the skydive. It was humbling to see so many people willing to give to charity despite the current financial climate."

Spaldings has raised a total of £7,899 for RABI year to date with money raised from charity raffles held on their exhibition stand at LAMMA and Cereals. The company also ran other charity initiatives at their Head Office such as cake sales, dress down days and an Easter raffle

"In January we decided that the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution would be our nominated charity for the year" says Chase. "We have worked hard to raise as much money as we can in the first six months and we are going to work even harder to raise even more in the last six."
