Tong Peal set to showcase at the Royal Highland Show

Tong Peal Engineering, the UK’s leading designer and manufacturer of vegetable handling and sorting equipment, will once again be on Avenue Q in the Agricultural Area at the Royal Highland Show 2013, to showcase a number of products from its 2013 range.

With a number of technically advanced additions to the 2013 range, including Tong Peal’s Blue Inverter Technology and Auto-Touch HMI touch screen control, the company is dedicated to providing the vegetable handling industry with new ways to increase cost-effectiveness, whilst improving profitability and crop quality.

“After a year of low yields, high production costs and some of the most extreme handling conditions for over 30 years, the 2012 harvest period was a testing time for the UK vegetable industry, with growers and packers continuing to face challenges due to prolonged winter-like weather during Spring 2013” says Nick Woodcock, Sales Manager at Tong Peal Engineering.

“Whilst we’re hoping that conditions improve, we have a number of machines within our latest range which are designed to perform whatever the weather, and look forward to speaking with customers old and new at the show to see how we can help them get the best out of their crop in 2013.”
