Top price of 4,000 gns at Novembers Lancaster dairy sale

Top price at this month’s Lancaster dairy sale was 4,000gns paid for Stardale Fantasia Vaakje 4 from James Burrow, Barton, Preston.

This heifer, bred from eight generations of EX cows and by a home-bred bull, took the reserve championship rosette before selling to an undisclosed buyer.

Wilson Boow, Bootle, Cumbria, took the championship with Dunnerdale Sam Sabrina 5, which realised 3,200gns. This heifer sold giving 41kg again to an undisclosed buyer.
