Traditional Pigs at Highland Show

Traditonal pigs will be making a comeback to this years Royal Highland held just outside Edinburgh in June. The Bidgiemire Pig Co. on behalf of the British Pig Association is organising the first Pig Educational Stand ever seen at the Highland show.

Pigs and conservation will be the theme for the stand and visitors to the show will be able to see first hand a selection of traditional breeds in a woodland setting as well as been able to purchase pig equipment, pig arks and book pig day courses. Experts and Associations including the British Pig Association will be on hand to talk about pedigree pork, the management of pigs in forests and keeping pigs in general.
