Yorkshire farm machinery importer launches Unia Manure Spreader

An East Yorkshire farm machinery importer has further consolidated his partnership with Polish manufacturing giant, Unia, by launching its Apollo Manure Spreader in the UK.

Market Weighton based Manterra Ltd. is the sole UK importer for Unia Group, Central Europe's leading manufacturer of agricultural machinery and the Apollo is the latest addition to Manterra's range.

Of the launch of the Unia Apollo Manure Spreader, Manterra founder, farmer and agronomist Andrew Manfield said: "Unia is one of Europe's leading suppliers of Manure Spreaders and has an extensive range of options, with a blend of price, quality and value that are unmatched in the market place."

Designed to withstand harsh working conditions, all of the multi-purpose machines are highly specced as standard to include a sprung, heavy drawbar; hydraulic variable control of the floor conveyor and an air or hydraulic brake system. Capactity options range from 6m3 and 24m3.

The Unia Apollo Manure Spreaders offer a choice of horizontal or vertical beater attachments and prices start at £19,995 for the Apollo 14 with vertical beaters.

Andrew Manfield is delighted with the performance of the Unia products that he has imported. "The reception we have had for the Unia product has been so good that we have expanded our range hugely. Our web site now reflects this with a vast amount of information, including many videos, available for potential customers (and the just plain curious!) to browse through. We think it is now one of the most informative web sites about - and is being added to all the time."
