FULL DETAILS

Llethr Llestri House is a handsome and substantial (5406 sq ft) Grade II Listed gentleman?s residence. It is thought to date back to the 17th century but it is believed that an earlier house once stood on the same site. It was the home of the Puxley family from 1820 when they purchased the estate. The house is mentioned (using a different name) in ?Hungry Hill?, a novel by the famous British author Daphne du Maurier, published in 1943. The novel revolves around the Irish ancestors of the author?s friend Christopher Puxley.
