Ty-Isaf lies on a west-facing slope with views over the countryside of the Duhonw Valley. It is approached via a tarmacadam council-maintained road that leads to one other property. It is approximately 4 miles from the market town of Builth Wells and approximately 14 miles from the historic Cathedral Town of Brecon (via the B4520). This area of mid-Wales is
renowned for its spectacular countryside and Ty-Isaf has grazing rights on the nearby Pant Llyn Hill, which is just a short ride away and the adjoining Lower Eppynt is crossed by a
number of bridleways.
Ty-Isaf was formerlty a small, mixed livestock farm which the present owners have converted to a successful equestrian stud farm. The larger grazing paddocks have been sub-divided into pony paddocks, the clearspan outbuildings have been converted to stabling and an all-weather covered exercise yard. A first floor area over the traditional stone / slate stables has been converted to a one bedroom flat which is suitable for groom / visitor accommodation.
