Speedwell is a beautifully designed and imposing Border Oak house standing in the centre of the attractive village of Westhope. The village of Westhope lies in north west Herefordshire and is a pretty village made up of a variety of individual cottages and houses. There are lovely countryside walks right on the door step and local facilities at the larger village of Canon Pyon where there is a primary school, village pub, shop and post office. More extensive facilities are available at the nearby village of Weobley and also at the market town of Leominster and the cathedral city of Hereford.

Speedwell was constructed approximately 10 years ago by the renowned oak timber frame company Border Oak. There are exposed timbers throughout, the windows are double glazed, and of a period style, some are leaded and all are in oak frames and surrounds.
