Beef demand forecast upbeat
The decreased export permits for cattle from Australia is hitting the price and availability of beef in Indonesia, according to an industry peak body.
Northern Territory Cattlemen's Association executive director Luke Bowen said the 2013 quotas of 267,000 head was down on 283,000 last year.
