Canadian hog farmers seek bailout
Struggling Canadian hog farmers, who are seeing bankruptcies in some of their larger operations, are discussing the need for a government bailout.
The Farmscape website, which tracks Canadian agriculture, reports that Keystone Agricultural Producers is discussing the need for a bailout of up to 150 million Canadian dollars to help producers through the next nine months.
