Caring for livestock in a heat wave

With extremely hot inland conditions being experienced and forecast in Western Australia, farmers are warned of potential threats to livestock.

Narrogin veterinarian, Dr Anna Erickson says quality water and shade are the two most important issues.

"Sheep tolerate hot weather quite well but when you're getting up to 42 degrees and above, they're going to feel it the same as we do.
