Cattle owners' beef over losing millions
Police are so clueless when it comes to solving livestock thefts that one victim was recently asked to supply the "serial number" of his stolen cattle.
"Cars have serial numbers, not cows," Richie Brennan, owner of one of the Gascoyne's most established cattle stations, said.
Mr Brennan is one of several cattle barons who are calling for an inquiry into stock theft.
