Cattle owners forced to wait for Bovine Johne's test results

Livestock owners will wait until March next year before learning if their cattle are infected after a Bovine Johne's disease outbreak in Rockhampton.

Biosecurity Queensland moved swiftly to contain the contagion in late November, contacting all 150 properties which received cattle from an infected beef stud farm.
