Cattle station evacuated on eve of Gulf cyclone

Graziers on a cattle station in north-west Queensland have been evacuated due to forecasts of heavy rain and possible flash flooding.

Cyclone Fletcher is currently located near Burketown on the Gulf of Carpentaria coast, and is expected to cause 300 to 400 millimetres of rain in the north-west in the coming days.
