China to boost agricultural modernization

Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang, who is also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, tries to operate a test device at the grain storage laboratory of the Academy of State Administration of Grain (ASAG) in Beijing, capital of China, January 15, 2013.

Li made an inspection tour in ASAG and presided over a symposium after visiting the academy's grain storage laboratory and food safety laboratory on Tuesday.

China's stepped-up urbanization should benefit agricultural modernization, and the two will complement each other, Vice Premier Li Keqiang said Tuesday.
