Commission says no freeze on approval of GM crops
The European Commission has dismissed any suggestions of a freeze on EU decision making on the cultivation of genetically modified (GM) crops.
The Commission is currently in the process of assessing the GM crop files for authorisation of cultivation, Frédéric Vincent, the spokesman for health and consumer policy at the European Commission, told Europolitics, on 23 January.
