Couple want answers after livestock shot

A rural Saskatchewan farmer is hoping to find those responsible for killing his livestock.

Kelly Meyer was celebrating his 55th birthday on Friday, when he learned that three of his animals — two cows and a pig — had been shot and killed at his farm near Carmel, about an hour’s drive east of Saskatoon.

In an attempt to find the person who committed what he calls a “cruel” and “senseless” crime, he and his wife are offering a $1,000 reward for information on the incident.
