Dairy farmers vow to tackle water use
Twelve major UK dairy companies have pledged to significantly cut their water footprints, as part of a government and industry-backed taskforce managed by the Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP).
Trade Association Dairy UK yesterday confirmed it has signed up to WRAP's Federation House Commitment (FHC), a voluntary scheme which encourages businesses to improve their water stewardship.
