Depending on rain alone is risky

Improving agriculture water management is critical to sustain plantations' produce and livability of farmers in times of harsh ecological conditions.

Energy, Water and Green Technology Minister Datuk Seri Peter Chin Fah Kui said the recent drop in padi plantation produce in some districts in Selangor could have been avoided if the padi fields had better water management systems that could store and continue water supply.
