Farmers call for talks to preserve dairy industry
Western Australian farmers are calling for an urgent meeting with milk processors and retailers after the Chief Executive of Wesfarmers said dairy farmers were in denial over the market.
Richard Goyder has reportedly said the farmers' anger is misdirected and that weak farm gate prices are not due to Coles' milk discounting program but because of an oversupply of milk.
