Japan boosts Tanzania's agriculture, food security

The government of Tanzania through the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Cooperatives, has commended the government of Japan for continuous assistance to the country’s agricultural sector.

Speaking at the signing ceremony of Tanrice2 project, Deputy permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Cooperatives Sophia Kaduma said the material support from Japanese government has energised the sector and helped to reduce poverty in the country.
